When you become a parent, it’s easy to fall into the trap of believing that ‘that is all you are now’. In reality, this notion couldn’t be further from the truth.
Ever increasingly, employers are pre-investigating potential candidates online. This “sleuthing” could feasibly occur even before someone is called in for an interview if the position is senior enough.
Right now I am working on several very senior administrative searches. I hear hiring managers say they need to hire someone who can handle “organizational ambiguity” and/or have “emotional intelligence”.
