- What makes your service stand out in the higher education recruitment and retention field?
Diversity in recruiting and integration with other systems are always a high priority for our institution customers. We are aware of the need to hire the best and most diverse talent. Our entire company is focused on learning about our customers’ needs and providing the technology they need to get the job done right.
- What is the tool or resource you provide to clients that wins you the most accolades?
Our search committee rating matrix has provided our customers a collaborative rating tool for committees to use when evaluating candidates. The rating matrix and other features have been created in collaboration with our higher education customers.
- What is a trend you see in your field that affects higher education recruitment?
Increased budget cuts at the state levels continue to force institutions to look at cost-saving initiatives; this can cause a strain on departments that are required to do more with less resources. NEOGOV solutions have been designed to help HR departments to do more on tighter budgets without compromising on quality.
- Does your organization/company have any new initiatives or products that would be of interest to HERC members?
We provide webinars and industry tools beyond our products. Throughout 2017, our higher education team will be meeting with many customers and non-customers to discuss challenges HR departments face at a college or university. We welcome any professionals that are interested in participating in these forums to join us.
