The Upstate New York HERC was established in 2006 as collaborative response of colleges and universities in Upstate New York to the many challenges of academic recruitment and retention. Upstate New York HERC’s core values are excellence and diversity in Upstate New York's higher education workforce and the promotion of work/life balance through assistance to dual career couples.
Who We Are
Upstate New York HERC is composed of a diverse group of public and private colleges and universities in Upstate New York that include research universities, doctoral and master’s institutions, affiliated medical schools and teaching hospitals, four-year colleges, and community colleges.
Member representatives include institutional leaders, faculty, academic and faculty affairs professionals, human resources managers and administrators, diversity officers, dual career consultants, and work-life personnel.
